Acetaminophen Dosing
Brand names include Tylenol and Feverall. Do not use in infants under 3 months of age unless instructed to do so by one of our pediatricians. Always use the measuring device provided with the medicine.
Acetaminophen can be given every 4 hours. Do not give more than 5 doses within 24 hours. Concentrated infant versions are no longer manufactured.
Ibuprofen Dosing
Brand names include Advil and Motrin. Do not use in infants under 6 months of age. Always use the measuring device provided with the medicine.
Ibuprofen can be given every 6-8 hours.
